Rules and regulations for issuing recruitment visas

  • 1. A Saudi family may hire a domestic worker or private driver, provided the conditions are met and the family is financially able.
  • 2.Approval to hire a second domestic worker requires the presence of children, a second wife, or the ability to support parents.
  • 3. A second driver may be approved if the applicant has more than one spouse, children in school, or unmarried daughters who are employed.
  • 4. A citizen who suffers from a disability due to age, illness, or handicap may hire a private driver, domestic worker, or nurse, as needed, upon submitting a recent medical report proving his condition and need, provided he has the financial means.
  • 5. Approval to bring in a rest worker is conditional on the following:
    • The rest house area must be no less than 1,000 square meters and must be owned by the applicant.
    • The rest house must be registered with the relevant authority as a private rest house.
    • No more than one rest house worker is permitted, regardless of the justification.
    • Finance must be available.
  • 6. An alternative visa may be approved for a domestic worker or private driver after a final exit visa has been issued by the Passports Department, provided proof of departure is provided within three months.
  • 7. Cases not mentioned above will be referred to the Ministry of Labor's Recruitment Committee for review based on the information provided.
  • 8. Approval may be granted to bring in individuals as needed, after review by the relevant committee at the Ministry of Labor.

  • 9. The justification or document to prove financial capacity shall be as follows:
    • Government employee: A certificate from his employer specifying his monthly salary.
    • Private sector employee: A certificate from the Social Insurance Institution specifying his monthly salary.
    • For non-public or private sector employees: Submit a recent bank statement for the last six months, with a monthly balance not less than the required average.
  • 10. The Director of Personnel Recruitment has the authority to exempt from the requirement to prove financial ability in cases he deems appropriate.

  • Issuing a residence permit for a domestic worker from an Absher account
  • Activating the domestic worker's account with a Saudi mobile number on the Absher electronic machine
  • Opening a Musaned account for the domestic worker using the same method described above
  • Ensuring that the old sponsor's and the new sponsor's Musaned accounts are up-to-date. Data

Enter the worker's ID number and she will receive a 4-digit code on her mobile number. We will register it in the worker's account support account. This will open the worker's account for us. We will fill in the information in Arabic (name of relative, relationship, mobile number).

Then a sponsorship transfer request will appear. We will verify the information of the old sponsor and the new sponsor, then accept the request. A "Accept" box will appear at the top of the screen. We will accept it.

  • (New Employer) The new employer enters the Services Transfer section.

  • Then click on Individual to Individual and accept the request.
